Temperature measurement instrumentation includes sensors, thermometers, and supporting components such as thermowells, process connections, terminal heads, transmitters, measurement inserts, and accessories. Temperature is among the most frequently measured variables in the process industries and is directly tied to process safety, efficiency, and final product quality.
